NFC Forum member

The NFC Forum is a non-profit organization aiming to advance the use of NFC technology by developing specifications ensuring interoperability among devices and services and educating the market. Integri is a member and actively involved in the working groups.

The NFC Forum specifications conceived for NFC readers are very similar to the EMVCo test specifications for Level 1 readers. Integri is the sole provider having such a test tool certified by EMVCo. Evidently, Integri technology is likely to be adapted by the entire NFC community.

Partnerships

Integri and Micropross have partnered to deliver an integrated solution for Level 1 testing of NFC cards and readers. The long-standing relation brings together the Integri expertise and technology and MicroPross state-of-the-art test hardware.

IBBT Research Institute (Belgium)

Together with IBBT, a research institute founded by the Belgian goovernment (including 5 university groups), technology provider Keyware and Accor Services, we analysed the possibilities of replacing paper meal vouchers, gift vouchers and discount coupons by an alternative based on NFC technology.

Replacing paper-based vouchers would enable customers to receive vouchers on their NFC-enabled phone, pay with them and transfer them to another mobile phone. The two year study results are very promising and reveal that commercial implementation is feasible...

ITSO (UK)

For ITSO, the UK government organization for interoperable public transport, Integri tested NFC-enabled mobile devices. The NFC application stored on a mobile phone is tested for compliance to the ITSO specifications in our in-house certification centre.
