Press Release Clear2Pay launches Mobile Payment Application Test Tool (MPA Test Tool) Brussels, 10 November 2011 – Clear2Pay, the international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions, today announces the launch of a new, automated test solution. The MPA Test Tool facilitates mobile application vendors and mobile issuers to test whether mobile payment applications comply to ruling standards and thus launch trusted and interoperable applications in a fast and secure way.
Mobile payment applications allow consumers to perform retail purchases by using their mobile devices just like a contactless payment card: by simply waving it across an existing contactless payment acceptance device.
With Clear2Pay’s new MPA Test Solution, mobile application vendors and mobile issuers are offered a complete, packaged solution that allows running a set of pre-defined scenarios to verify mobile application user interfaces and the over-the-air communications with mobile gateways. The test tool eases vendors and issuers’ certification processes required by international card schemes: a test output file replaces the time-consuming burden of sending mobile phones back and forth to certification laboratories. The solution also eradicates the demanding and specialist task to build a specific test environment. Additionally, it can be used as a benchmark tool during the development phase of mobile applications, thus guaranteeing a uniform quality.
According to Marie Costers, Head of Clear2Pay'sTest Tools Competence Centre: “To make our industry’s mobile endeavour a widespread reality, we need the consumer’s unconditional trust in mobile technology. At Clear2Pay we work with true testing passion to make this happen. In our aspiration to modernise global payments, we are truly dedicated to provide our industry with the essential tools that help building trusted mobile solutions.
A demonstration will be hosted at the Cartes Trade Show, 15-17 November in Paris Nord Villepinte. Visit the Clear2Pay booth nr 3E 022.
